I think my phone is dead

[Android Central Question]

I tried switching off my LG G5 and instead a symbol of a phone with a danger sign and a red x below it appeared on the left and on the right a green small circle I’ve tried the automatic reboot of pressing the power button behind with the volume keys stimultaneously but nothing works
Tried putting the phone in my laptop but my laptop doesn’t recognize my phone
please help I’m super worried and confused

The G5 has a removable battery, so you should be able to pull the battery to force a shutdown. Then reinsert the battery and see if you can power on normally.
