Tried rooting Moto G, OS seems to have been erased

I was trying to unroot my device, but unfortunately I uninstalled the OS. I tried to install it again by downloading a zip file from the internet, but when I tried to flash it using TWRP a failure occurred. It says:

E: Unable to open zip file.
Error flashing zip

I tried with another zip and TWRP says:

Checking for MD5 file...
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found
Error flashing zip

You might have to flash the file through the bootloader. You can check out YouTube on how to do it. There probably are a few videos to choose from.
