I used to be able to slide away my unwanted e-mail. How do i put that setting back on?

I installed an update on my phone. Before the update I could just slide my unwanted e-mail away. Now when I do that it pops right back on.

Hello Jim, welcome to the forums. What phone do you have and which email app are you using? Do you mean when a notification pops up on your screen or inside the email app?
