Best Buy being the exclusive dealer means I can't get one until next year. I went to upgrade and got turned down by T-Mobile, so I called them today and they said I'm not eligible for an upgrade until next March. Because I've been with T-Mobile for so long the guy said he could get me the upgrade price for any other phone except the Nexus S, because it's the only phone they can't override the price because Best Buy is the exclusive dealer.

By next March there will be something better I'm sure, but a 99$ Nexus S sounds so good right now. A 500$ one doesn't sound as good, or even possible.

That doesn't make sense that they can get you an upgrade anything but the nexus s. I would have them get you the mytouch 4g and then sell it or trade it on craigslist.

Well you can wait for the next Nexus or you can get the G2X because it does run stock Fro-Yo (with SOME bloat) with an upgrade to Gingerbread coming soon.

The reason they can't is because Best Buy can't override the price. He said it's the only phone they have no control over selling. The reason I want the Nexus S is because I'm currently using the Nexus One and want the pure Android experience.

Like kassdog get a mytouch 4G and trade it or just keep it. If your not looking for a stock android experience the mytouch is the best phone on T-mobile

the only way to get the discount on best buy is if they put it on your account so when they check it in the system you can call customer service and see if they will do that for you.

glad to see im not the only one who is pissed best buy is the exclusive carrier i wish there was at least an online place to order from.(besides best buy)

I like best buy for buying phones. Their return policy is so easy. I bought the Nexus S but was having issues with it so I went back, traded for the g2X and Didn't like it, went back to the nexus S and got a really good one. Going to tmobile, they would limit you on how many trades and exchanges you do. This way I got to try out the two phones I was eying and picked the best one for me.

I just ordered Nexus S from Amazon. Can't wait.
