I want a tablet but...

I want a tablet but ...
A) I don't really know what I would do with out I mean I could configure the network at my job, I am an electrician, to help with my paper work ect. But other then that what do I do with it.
B) if I did what do I buy... I am on sprint so the tab is a given but I don't want a contract I mean 29.99 a month for 2gb for 2 years? But buying a tablet with out a contact looks like it is 500+ I saw you can put honeycomb on the nook color would that be a better option or an I missing something?

If anyone could help with this that would be great I have been toying with the idea since the tab was released and can't seem to justify owning a bigger version of the samsung epic that I already own.

Wait for some of the new honeycomb tablets to get below $400 off contract and just use wifi. Get the lowest space version which are usually 16gb and wifi only. I've read honeycomb on the nook runs well, but it wasn't designed to run it at all. It'll require more effort compared to a true honeycomb tab.

I paid $425 for my Sprint Galaxy tab from Bestbuy as an open box item. Straight out.. no activation/no monthly fees and I use it as a wifi only device. If you're looking for something cheap maybe try a used Tab off of eBay or go with the Nook Color. Anything else is gonna be at least $400 and above.
