I want to like NoLED, but...

I'm trying really hard to like this little app, but I'm finding it difficult. It's just no substitute for the pulsating white light of the gesture area of my old Pixi. Quite often I notice a blinking magenta envelope telling me I have email, but when I turn the screen on there are no emails. It appears to be notifying me BEFORE an email arrives on my phone. You'd think this would be an advantage, but it's actually sort of an inconvenience since it adds an unnecessary step.

Honestly, I just wish I had the single blinking light like my old phone...

I also wanted to like it, however, I am using NoLock and they aren't compatible together. I chose NoLock over NoLed as I would rather have no lock screen.

What are your settings? Do you have blink on? Do you have the stock froyo icons? Do u have a reminder vibrate? Sound? All these things okay a role in the app if nnot its not as good.

NoLED also doesnt seem to like to play nice with K9 email app..... other than that it seems to work well

Hummm - I get notifications of new emails all the time on NoLED from K9 even though there are not any - the text and call notifications seem to work great though...

I love NOLed, it works great with all my apps, including GoSMS Pro, just turn off pop ups for SMS and you'll be ok.

The delay sms option under miscellaneous in NoLED will allow you to use pop ups if you want them.

i had used NOLed for a bit but didn't like it at all... maybe i didn't customize it enough to get it working right...

maybe i'll try again, but honestly im fine without it, im the type of person who first off is never without my phone, and secondly checking it immediately if I ever am away from it...

Anyone know why I don't get my notifications while my phone is on the charger? All I get is the battery displayed percentage number showing.

Same here. The few seconds it takes me to check if I have any messages is not a big deal if I leave my phone for a bit. However, I did like the led charging indicator on the evo.
