I want to like this phone (back to defaults)

I really want to like this phone I do.

In general the phone works well but recently I have noticed it going back to some default settings.

1. Multiple times a day the ringer goes back to Verizon default.
2. Multiple times a day the screen shutoff goes back to 2 min. instead of 30sec
3. Multiple times a day the default calendars change so when I add a appointment it doesn't add it to my gmail calendar it adds it to My Calendar.

I'm sure I will uncover more settings as time goes on.

After making these changes I go back in and verify they have changed and indeed they have.

Any idea here folks?

Sounds like you might have a bad unit or may need to do a factory reset. I would try the reset first to see if that fixes anything. If not if you're in your 30 day period exchange it for a new one.

Menu > Settings > Security > Factory Data Reset

What changed recently? Have you installed anything new? If not the phone may be bad, in that case I would return it. Mine doesn't exhibit any of this behavior.

I did a full reset today. We'll see if this problem still persists. None of the apps I have installed I would think wouldn't get in the way. ChompSMS, Handcent, dolphin and a bunch of games.
