I want to switch my GF's Photon to Metro PCS is this possible??

I'm looking to flash my gf's Photon from Sprint to Metro PCS can anyone plz help me with this? Is this even possible? I've gone on youtube and it seems like you can but the video I watched didnt have any audio to explain what exactly was going on. I'm looking for any type of pointers that would be helpful..
