I want to update my samsung s5 active

From last 2 years I am trying and keep checking if there is any software update but it shows the latest version is already been installed.
However I come to know that many times the update have been released but I am unable to get any update.
Please advice on the same so that I can update my phone as well.

Welcome to Android Central! What's the exact model number (in Settings>About Phone)? Was the phone originally from a carrier, or did you get it unlocked? What version are you currently on now?
