I was able to set up some apps so that a pin is required.

This was without external app. Just using s7 edge. Now i can't find out how to turn it off on one or any app. Search all menus several times. Ask in search engines trying to find an answer using many different wording. Help please.

Are you thinking about Private Mode to hide certain pictures and files in Gallery, My Files, and S Note? That's in the Privacy and Safety area of Settings. Otherwise, are you thinking about Samsung Knox?

Are you talking about pin windows? This lets you lock an app to the screen, so another user can't exit it to use another app without entering a PIN or using your fingerprint. It's under "Other security settings."

I don't know of any way to require a PIN in order to open an app.
