I was able to get a 4G signal from my office at work with my old EVO 4G, but with my new 4G LTE all I can get is 3G. What gives?

Is there a 4G "ON" setting that I'm missing?

Thanks.

The Evo Lte does not get 4g wimax network, so all you'll have is 3G until the Lte network is up and running in your area. Same thing happen to me so yeah I know it blows!

Yeah when I found this out it was almost a deal breaker for me, but I freaking love the phone and when I'm at home I'm on wifi and this sucker flies,so it only bugs me when I'm at work.

Yeah, totally not a complaint, just a groan of "I should have done some better due diligence".

Love this phone, great on WiFi. I guess I just have another thing to look forward to.

Thats one of the reasons I still have my OG eVo....when they get the 4gLTE working then I'll get the upgrade....otherwise just feel like I'd be taking a step backwards.....no offense...:)

Vel7wil, no offense taken. I'm kicking myself because I usually do a much better job of making an informed decision. I wasn't really planning on upgrading when I was at the store....total impulse buy. Live and learn.

Same thing happen to me I was on my way home when my OG Evo died on me needless to say I ran straight to the store and the salesman talked me into upgrading instead filing a claim for insurance. I usually research phones for at least a month before upgrading, I do really like this phone so I'll have to bare with it until LTE comes to Chicago!
