i will be leaving the galaxy s5 in september.

This is true but.... It is their Phablet to compete with Samsung's Phablet... Not just a new refreshed M8 phone.

Sent from my T-Mobile Note 3 using AC Forums.

Ill just wait till september to see what all unfolds. Maybe the s5 prime will be best

Though I read in another thread that the Galaxy Primes are released in Korea only or something like that.

The screen is ridiculously large. I would go with the S5 Prime when it's released. Question is... how subsidized will the Prime editions be?

Lol, these are totally rumors and I wouldn't believe any of them. It's rumored to also have 1tb of internal storage, do you believe that?

Considering the m8 has a 4mp depth sensor that does nothing by capture depth information, why would they bump it up to 18mp just to capture depth info? It doesn't make sense, and neither do these rumors.

I wouldn't mind my G Flex being a tad thicker at top if it had the G2's OIS or a wider and more low-light-tolerant sensor. So I can see a "real" camera being a big fix for the M8. HTC also needs better ads, their hardware and interface are promising but the ads and sales tutorials are depressing and lonertastic.

If you're not having any of the common S5 issues I cannot picture why you would jump to the M8 Prime if its build quality is still anything like the launch M8s. I mean better the beast you know and all that...I like my Flex but if I owned an S5 I wouldn't be jumping overboard for a Flex or G Pro 2.

I don't think HTC adding a phablet is really a slap in the face of M8 users. It's a different form factor altogether and they released a phablet last year. It would be more of a slap in the face if Samsung releases the same form factor with better specs in the rumored S5 Prime.

The S5 is just a bit past my tolerance for size, so the M8 Prime won't win me over. But if LG can cram their 5.5" screen in the same footprint as the S5 and the camera is substantially better, that would be very tempting. If on top of that the G3 is waterproof, I won't even hesitate.

If the 5" M8 is almost the same height as the Note 3, will the 5.5" M8 Prime be the same height as the Nexus 7?
