Ok, here we go.

Here is what I want to do.
1. Completely Remove any type Unrevoked 3/Unrevoked forever from my phone. that means no, "superuser app." To be able to preform an OTA update and it load successfully. Thats it.

Here is what I have done thus far. Links to what has been suggested and DOES NOT work!

Instructions for the above links were followed. It did not work! repeat did not work! However with unrevoked forver I still have superuser app, that works, and in the boot loader (android guy on skateborder) says s-on. Not sure what that means but that is as far as I could get.

One more time I will pay a fair amount for any info that WORKS!

i used this site for unrooting and ive done it over ten time now...cause of the issues ive had with my phone.....dont EVER PAY FOR INFO MAN....if someone asks for money you know where to tell where to go...LOL....just get the unrevoked soff.zip and flash it....that will take the S-ON fro your bootloader screen to S-OFF....the get the PC36IMG....make sure you rename it to PC36IMG and not PC36IMG.zip.....cause when u rename it and put the .ZIp in there the phone will recongnize it as PC36IMG.zip.zip.......and it wont work....just rename it PC36IMG and put it on the ROOT of yur SDcard then shut ur phone off and hold (Volume Down & Power buttong till yur in the bootloader)....let it recognize the PC image and it will ask to update.....i think its Volume UP to say yes.....and let it take its course....DONT OUCH ANYTHING....LOL.......when it ask to RESTART, say YES......then ur unrooted.....come back and let us know how it went

I'm I officially ****ed?

I Have s-on. But my phone will not boot up. it keeps going back to boot loader. Please sweet Jesus why does nothing I do work? It can not get out of boot loader. How-Can I fix this. Do I need to buy a new Phone? HOW?

Oh yeah, not that it matters NOW, But Reverepats was the first one to mention naming the file WITHOUT .zip at the end, because it would add .zip

That the other thing that has led me here. Yes rooting is easy for some. Hell some of you make it sound so cool and easy and the greatest thing since slice bread but there are others out there who just want the same thing. And there are no "hold your hand through the process" type of instructions.

But you know what? Android Central or XDA may be the best sites for Android Everything. But they have a HEAVILY fragmented forum I have RTFF dozens of time... all of it, and have tried everything I could, followed directions to the letter. But the ultimate lesson I am taking from all this is that NO one has the correct directions! Why because know matter how mundain the little detail there is ALWAYS something so small missing because EVERYONE is in a different scenario.

Example, Here is how a stupid **** like me need helps. Step 1. Clean Laptop screen (to see directions better).

I am literally losing it at the probable loss of my Evo and the $300 I payed for it through sprint when it launched. I'm really ready to go to trackfone till my upgrade is available or just pay full price for Nexus S 4g. All I every wanted was wifi tethering. I'd go back in time and beat my ass before I could have ever used unrevoked on my phone, just to save me the headache.

Slow down!

No need to panic, we will get you out of this mess. Besides, you're still s-on which means your unrooted so sprint will swap you out if it comes down to it.
