I still think I'll go with Samsung, though. Plus I love my Pixel 2 too much to give it up right now. But it doesn't hurt to see what else is out there.

I take anything From the verge with a chunk of salt large enough to pay seven full Roman legions for seven years. Besides that, it's a bad example. Take the first story from that piece. The guy selling gun accessories wasn't screwed over by Amazon, he was screwed over by an unscrupulous rival abusing systems put in place to protect buyers. Similar story for several of the others i read before getting bored.

All it shows is Amazon may be a bit over zealous with it's protection mechanisms, which as a buyer, while i do sympathise with sellers who are unfairly targeted, does not make me want to stop using then.

You would have been better off bringing up the way their warehouse workers are treated or their tax avoidance/strong arming of local governments to try and sway me, for future reference.

Same here. Ever since their video and article on how to build a gaming PC published, I have blocked them on my browser. I still get results from them, but if I try to click on them, I get a reminder from uBlock that they are blocked.
