when do you guyd think Ice-Cream Sandwhich will be deployed for the Thunderbolt? I can't wait to see what it brings to the table.

Any guesses as to what you think it will bring? Will it be major updates and upgrades?

Unfortunately we don't even know if ICS will be brought to or be able to run on the Thunderbolt. Supposedly ICS is finally supposed to be able to take advantage of multi-core processors, but then again as someone else said, that's what they said about GB before it was released also.

In all honesty, probably be announced 4 months after ICS is released then 6-8 after that. Just a guess.

I'm pretty positive that ICS will come to the TB, Google wouldn't leave the Nexus S behind that quickly and that phone isn't dual core. Also, if an OS can take advantage of dual core processors that doesn't exactly mean that it won't work just fine on single core phones. If anything we might not be able to take advantage of some minor things like dual core games and apps.

I thought it was confirmed somewhere that ICS will NOT come to the Thunderbolt? Maybe I'm wrong (or misread it), I dunno.

I wish Google gave all Android phones as much care as Nexus phones and Verizon gave their other phones as much care as they do their DROID line. Which is why I hoped the Thunderbolt would be a DROID phone.

Well the Thunderbolt has been one of their best selling phones, so I don't think it'll be forgotten by any means. The only one I would be concerned about is the Revolution, but it's got almost identical specs as the Thunderbolt and I'm not as concerned about it for my wife because she's not really a tech geek like I am.

No, I never read anything like that but I have seen other forum members mention that. I'm justvas nervous that we won't get it but I'm staying positive and looking at the facts. @INK I agree I also wish the TB got the Droid branding bit if u came from a Droid Eris, that brand name logo won't mean crap if VZW decides to abandon a phone early. But I don't see that with the TB.

There is no sense in thinking about ICS at this point, as said before it MAY not even run on TB's. But if it does we won't see it on Thunderbolts until the fall of 2012.

Yeah, ICS is supposed to be released Q4, meaning the Thunderbolt wouldn't see it for at least 6 months.... that's an entire year from where we are now. That's a long time away. Let's worry about Gingerbread for now. :)

Someone got trigger-happy with the ban-hammer and thread-lock. :)

Sorry its off topic but, seriously, I think the ban was too harsh considering the previous contributions she made to these forums.

No check it out. Chrisy went a little nuts but she's a great member of this community.

She went a little overboard however, and got like 30 infractions. haha.

I don't know if bans are temporary or not, i sort of thought they were a week or so of no posting, but i really dont know.

Anyway, hopefully she comes back, and if not, that's okay i guess, but she'll be missed.
