post #2, image #2: is that the NOTIFICATION bar in the foot of the screen instead at the head of it?

That's a Sense(ish) take, MAYBE on top of ICS. If that is what the next version of Sense looks like, at least I won't have to wonder about whether I want to run a Sense or AOSP ROM :)

I rarely run Sense anything once I have root, but do like the r3chargeD Sense ROM.

I noticed that when you hit the quick launch button and select gallery, the launcher force closes. Just a heads up.

Haha, yea I used the launcher for a couple hours, the day it came out, and then reverted back... The lack of any functionality on the recent app button was too much (err.. not enough) for me... Actually the ROM I was on at the time was Decks 1.3d with Tiamat 4.08, clocked at 245/998 smartassV2 governor. Awesome ROM, and phenomenal battery life btw, hardware 0004

You said it, complete lack of functionality. Deck's ROM is brilliant even with the stock Cyan kernel that's built in. :)

Would have to agree with ya there for sure. Decks is my goto Rom, I've been on a flashing binge lately. I'll grab a sense Rom, rip out all the bloat, see how much sense and HTC crap I can rip out till it breaks... Hit a bootloop, back to decks. Lol
Btw, I've also had really great luck with the Savagedzen 2.2.1 cfs kernel, probably even better battery life than I'm getting on tiamat 4.0.8. Just had to see how that new smartassV2 governor worked..

Yes it is, that's actually a feature on decks Rom under tablet tweeks, i like it because it makes one handed operation a lot easier whole I'm at work hanging off a building in my safety harness rig..

Quick question that smartassV2 governor. What exactly is it?

When using setcpu you have several choices for governors that control the clocking of you CPU based on the low and high values you select. They determine how the CPU will operate with your given settings. I believe the default is called on-demand, its (to my understanding), like a high/low, either max or minimum speed. Smartassv2 is a re-working of the original smartass governor, it allows for the CPU to scale through all frequencies from the lowest you set to the highest, based on the load occuring. Basically it scales CPU based on realtime needs of the system, saV2 supposedly incorporates some more agressive settings for screen off, and I believe quicker scaling than the original smartass. A lot of people swear by the smartass governor, and others go with interactive.
Also, just a heads up, if you ever use setcpu, be sure to NOT CHECK set at boot, untill you have tried your current settings for a good period of time. Made that mistake myself and had my max cpu at 1190, and ended up in a bootloop that required a complete re-flash of my Rom.
