The last time I saw a icon flashing on the search bar was for valentines day. I don't recognize it. What is it.?

Ok, let's stop this now -- I cleaned the thread of some unhelpful comments. If you don't have anything constructive to add, then simply move on. No need to post anything. Simple, right?

@IMANUT46, the Google search bar widget icon is related to the current Google Doodle on the main Google page. Today, it looks like the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, since the Doodle is for John Tenniel, the original illustrator for Alice in Wonderland.

Thank you very much for your courtesy and explanation. The next time a doodle show up, where on the Google Main page are the doodles.

And a bit of trivia :) This icon/doodle is different sometimes depending on the country you live. I've seen local references depending on my location, which is great.

You can press and hold on the icon and you will see preferences option. Click on it and you will see option to disable flashing.
