Icon reverts to generic

Got my Bionic on launch day.

I put Scrabble on the phone a few days ago and, just like on other platforms, Scrabble sometimes crashes. Twice since yesterday, I've seen the shortcut icon turn into a generic blue icon. Does anyone know if icon glitches like that are app-related, rather than an OS/phone glitch?

When I've seen that generic icon appear, I delete the shortcut, and set up the shortcut again, which then has the correct Scrabble image.

I've noticed a similiar problem to this as well. When I move an application to the media area, then reboot the phone, the icon switches to a generic icon but the shortcut still works. If I delete the old shortcut, then make a new one, the actual icon is back. If I move the application back to regular app memory I don't have this problem.

Hmmm... I haven't moved any apps to the media area. Also, the icon goes to generic while the phone is ON. and it's only the Scrabble app that's exhibited this behavior.

All the apps that i have moved to the SD card show generic icons after reboot... some other forums talk about the same issue on other phones and talk about changing 'skins'... can we do skins on the Bionic? when i delete the shortcuts, and replace them, they look fine...

I think it just takes a little longer for the information to reach the phone from the sd card. Had this problem on my og. If you let it sit for a couple minutes the icon should return to normal. By any chance did you download it from the Amazon Market? I'm starting to think their default is to install to the sd card.

Yes, I think all these apps are from the Amazon Market, but I manually (using App2SD app) move to the SD card. It doesn't matter how long I let it sit, they stay generic. I guess I could just leave them on the phone, just didn't want to clog up the phone with apps. I shouldn't have to leave them there...
