icon size cm7 adw

I'm trying to figure out how to get larger icons on a CM7 install. I liked the bigger icons on Honeycomb, but after much advice I switched to CM7. Unfortunately it has tiny icons. I searched for "icon size", "icon size adw" and "icon size cm7". Someone mentioned changing the DPI but I've been through every setting screen I can find (though as many as there are its conceivable I missed one.

How do I do this? I need bigger icons and bigger icon title text.

Change dpi to 240. This is done by editing your build.prop

Ok I loaded ES File Explorer and followed instructions on how to edit build.prop but I got an error "failed to mount". It won't grant edit rights to the file. Note that I'm using an SD card to do this. Steps followed:

1. Settings.
2. Selected Root Explorer. Got a warning and responded Yes.
3. Selected Mount File System. Got error.

I could never get it to work with ES. I suggest you use root explorer yeah it costs money but its worth having something that always works.
