Icons rearranging on reboot

Since the Froyo ED03 update my application icons will not stay where I put them. I can rearrange them to my liking and when I reboot, they have moved again. Any insight why this is happening? Could this be caused by a TI restore after I got the ED03 update? My email app is also brain damaged. It will retrieve messages, but does a force close if I try to reply to anything. Should I just have Verizon reapply the ED03 update? This is very annoying.

The icons for apps installed on your sd card will move when you reboot. Your phone doesn't know they're there until the media scanning completes at startup. To keep them in place, you'd have to move all your apps to the phones internal memory. You can do that in Settings > Applications > Manage applications. Titanium Backup also has a batch option to move all user apps to sd card or internal memory.

Ahhh. that makes sense. All the apps were ones I had moved to the SD card after the Froyo update. thanks
