I have an icon at the top of my homescreen and have no clue what it is, tried searching and found nothing. it lookes like a steering wheel with an arrow at all 4 sides like a compass and then has a diagonal line through it. any ideas?

That means your GPS is turned off.. When it's on you wont see the line through it
