ICS 4.0.4 update for yakjuxw

Will other variations of galaxy nexus receive the update? Or must we flash the device to yakju?

The yakjuxw version will receive updates from Samsung ... as far as I know there is no scheduled date as of now

Yes, we will get updates, but they are pushed by Samsung, and not Google. Therefore, there will be a delay. (eg: it took Samsung a while to push out 4.0.2 after Google released it...)

I wonder how long it will be until someone at Samsung decides that they want to put out the new update

Sadly I'm not getting my hopes up here with Samsung. They seem to treat updates as afterthoughts. We are going on a week now and no hope yet of an update. I understand that the cdma and specific carrier firmware need to take longer. Why is it the unlocked international GSM models have different firmware. All of these should have a unified firmware. Not this, where some get updated by Google others by Samsung for no apparent reason why this was done. That's the frustrating part of this.
