ICS and Google+ Hangouts

A lot of Android owners are complaining of missing audio when doing G+ Hangouts with the mobile app. On my 3G Honeycomb Xoom, the microphone icon is muted and ghosted so I can't unmute it. I can see and hear others but the can only see me.

Has ICS fixed this issue by chance?
