I'm loving ICS...but has anyone else run into problems arranging apps and widgets on the stock homescreen? I can move things and make folders but when I try to make apps switch places, the one that's already there doesn't move to a free space.

Its designed like that. You have to move the other app first if you want to put one in its place. If the apps moved by themselves you wouldn't be able to make folders

On the homescreen, you can't interpose a shortcut between two adjacent shortcuts (as in iOS), although you can do this in a folder. As mentioned above, you need to clear a space first before you place a shortcut.

You can make apps switch places inside of folders but its not possible on the home screen. That function is for creating folders.

Whoops me to slow! Three of the same answers better than one.

In my book, 3 helpful identical answers are much better than one mean snarky unhelpful comment!

Word.
Thanks, guys. I wasn't sure if it was a bug (I've had homescreen issues before) or a change between GB and ICS.

I know that this is a shot at me, but I give you a like for the comment in general even though these type of comments aren't helpful.
