Just installed ICS leak was using BAMF 1.11 but my battery life sucks now its sucking the life out of my phone also phone is getting warm??? Never had these problems with 1.11 anyone else having these issues?

From everything I've read, battery life is an issue for everyone running this ROM. Until Verizon releases the official update with the ICS radios and kernel, battery life will not be very good. Some people are even reporting that the current kernel causes the processor to constantly max out which definitely isn't good. This might also be the reason your phone is getting warm.

Yes, terrible battery life for me also. So bad (around 6 hours on airplane mode) that I'm going back to Thundershed.

The taste of that Ice Cream was good, but it's going to leave me wanting it even more!

Lol and I thought I had a deffective battery. I called verizon and they are sending me a new battery under warranty

i think my battery is shot though. i put a full charged battery in b4 bed last nite and left my phone off. when i woke up and turned it on it was at 50%

I am very grateful for this leak. It is fun to play with but really isn't dd material imo. I've read all the threads about it and there are all sorts of problems. At the very least a better kernel is needed. This kernel runs full power even when phone is sleeping.

Hmmm, interesting. I'd guess that's because the leak is a test build (from April) which was probably primarily for devs to test out core functionality so they could further refine the software.

Jesters Liquid 2.6 ICS is good enough for DD in my opinion. It's AOSP, no lag and good battery life. I also get pretty consistent 4G speeds (the icon always shows 1x though, but that's a known issue).

What kind of speeds (Mbps) are you getting with it? Thanks.

I was getting 4g speeds with it,any others were as well. Go to rootzwiki or xda where ever it is and check the tread,: its a nice ROM.

Edit * Here is a screen shot shot from it.

Last time I tried it, I was getting 4 down and 1.5 up. If it's gotten better, I'll definitely give it another shot. Thanks.

If I were to flash this one, I really don't mind it showing 1x, but my questions are, what's the recommended radio version, and did you also have to flash a custom kernel?
If I were to flash this rom, does zigg kernel stay until I flash a different custom kernel over it?

Or, does this rom already include a new radio and kernel and all is flashed when you flash the rom?
(I'm not 100% on this, now on bamf forever 1.10 + zigg kernel, flashed separately)

I think kernel and radio are included. Check OP

I can also confirm ICS Leak is nasty on battery life. It's also laggier than laggy.

Strongly recommend Liquid ICS, its just incredible. It has some faults, including radio issues like it reports 1x when its really 3G, but imho it's the best ROM for this phone period. Not even HTC could work something up that would even stand up to how good this ROM is.

FYI for those with battery concerns, I'm going on 1d 18h and I'm at 60% battery left, and I had the screen on for 2h 15m so far. God like.
