ICS & Lower Benchmark Scores

After I updated to ICS I tried a few benchmark apps like Quadrant and Antutu and both gave me much lower scores than prior to the upgrade. I turned on force gpu rendering thinking it might help but it didn't. Anyone else experience this? What's the reason for the lower scores? I know that the benchmarks don't really mean much and my phone is running smoothly so it doesn't really matter, but I was just wondering why the scores would be lower.

word.. my evo V has been pulling scores higher then the old evo 3d scores.

I agree my scores on quadrant used to be 2700 or more and now around 2300

Benchmarks are useless! I've had better performance coming from Roms scoring 2000 points lower on quadrant than a 1.8 GHz 5000 point score did. Completely over rated synthetic testing.

The best test is to run graphically intense games that you've had know problems with in the past. And go to Dev options and enable GPU rendering.

Bottom line, this is now a better phone.
