ICS made my notifications sound horrible.

I upgraded to ICS through Kies, and at first my GPS didn't work hardly at all and my notifications sounded like my speaker was going out. I did a hard reset and now my GPS is fine, but my notifications still sound horrible. Any suggestions?

Maybe try reflashing ICS on the device thru Kies again? My notifications sound perfectly fine. Both the system ones and custom ones I use for SMS.

Yeah, that didn't work either. I also had to reinstall kies twice after it crashed. Took 2 hours just to download the program. I have no idea how to remedy this.

Well since everyone is nailing the Samsung servers to get the ICS update, yeah things are going to be slow. I have yet to have Kies crash on me, let alone to the point that it had to be reinstalled. Anyway you can try another PC?

So after a hard reset, a fresh install, and then another hard reset....everything is good to go. I guess the update just wasn't agreeing with my phone. It's all good now.

Had to do a reset and reflash also to fix several issues I was having,glad your running good now
