So since i have had my s3 i found it a little hard to get used to. Coming from a Blackberry it took a while. Though while getting used to it i found the phone to be a bit buggy.
With ICS, i noticed myself and a lot of others on this forum, about ringtones/notification tones either resetting or not playing the whole tune on there s3.
Since i have the JB update these little buggy features have now gone and i have a fully functioning phone :)
Anybody enjoying a less buggy JB?
I absolutely love this phone even more now.

lol ive actualy picked up a new bug.. keyboard resets to stock samsung one after reboot :( also settings sometimes crashes.
can live with them though and might do a reset to clear out the ics cobwebs :)

global s3, UK. Ask me anything and ill reply even if its just an intelligent (or stupid) guess ;)

That is odd :(.. Maybe a reset would fix it. I use swiftkey3 and can reboot with no issues.

Thanks for starting this topic. Since I'm still on ICS Stock TouchWiz I've been wondering the same so I can quit worrying about or chasing down various issues.

Ok what I am finding is now is that my smart stay keeps flashing up when all motions are off. Maybe a battery pull to see if it works. Though I must admit it does work. :)

man i dont use smart stay, my timeout is 10mins so i dont need it but today i noticed the wee eye popping up (giggidy) while in a queue on the phone.
is that normal when its switched off?

Right ok I found the problem. There is another setting in the display option in settings View attachment 45135
even though all motions are turned off and that option is ticked in the display settings, smart stay will always be on. So I have unchecked and hey presto no more smart stay. I have my screen to time out after 15seconds
