Just got the ICS update, but I don't see a way to turn off 4G LTE and only be on 3G like GB allowed.

Did they not split CDMA and LTE any longer?
Are we stuck on 4G all the time?

Download the thunderbolt 4g toggle app

Use the search function next time.

Go to your phone dialer and type "*#*#4636#*#*" Go to Phone Information and scroll down to "Set Preferred Network Type" and select CDMA auto (PRL). This will keep your phone in 3G without use of any third party app.

I have a Droid 4 Razr loaded iwth ICS and that combination of numbers does nothing. Was this some sort of joke?

Thunderbolt toggle switch works great... in my testing i found having 4g on is better then having it off.

I tried 3 times. It must be something unique. It doesn't work. I just turned off data entirely till I need it. Easy solution and I don't have to dl an app. Thanks for your help!

It worked!! Thank God-4G is not my first choice and it just drains the battery. Thank you so much for that post :-)
