Idea for tablets

I was thinking...would it be possible for somebody to make a hardcase with a soft cover on it (think hardcase + smartcover) that trickle charges the battery via solar power?

The back houses the reserve external battery and the front being where the actual panels are kept on the front of the smart cover?

Thoughts?
