I have most of my apps permanently asleep thanks to Samsung's alway's sleeping feature that they added shortly after the S8/S8+ came out.
The description of this feature is that apps never run in the background.
Is Samsung lying, or is it normal for apps to use ram when they are sleeping?
Oh, BTW, the app in question is Reddit's official app.
I turned the notifications on after I noticed the ram being used.
