If I have an unlocked Note 4, can I switch from AT&T to Verizon?

It said the phone was unlocked when I bought it.

Does this mean I can switch to Verizon, if I want?

Here's what the details said when I bought it:

Samsung SAN910A32GBB
Galaxy Note 4 32GB AT&T Branded Smartphone (Unlocked, Charcoal Black)

SM-N910A.

That's not an fully unlocked device. It's a carrier branded phone which should be carrier unlocked so that you can use it on other carriers.

You'd also have to check with Verizon if the phone is approved for their network -- they can be pretty picky about unlocked phones.

Thanks. I will do that.

So it seems like it might be possible to use this same phone. Which is a good sign. Earlier, I wasn't sure if it was possible at all.

I'm on a shared plan, and am considering whether if the other person switches, then if I should switch too (which I might if I can keep the same phone).

I don't think it will work, it's old enough that it probably lacks the bands needed for Verizon.

I used to work at Verizon, most GSM phones from AT&T didn't have the required antenna and my Verizon Note 4 wasn't compatible with Tmobile.
