If I turn off the volume. will the alarm still ring

My Samsung S5 keeps producing weird sounds every now and then (notificartions of some kind, probably). I want to shush it.

My phone has a quiet time feature under Sound. If your phone has that you can set up Do Not Disturb time and it does not affect the alarm.
