If i unlock can a block

If i unlock a phone using a service that generates unlock codes. Can the carrier i was using still black list the phone after I unlock it

It depends on your carrier. If your under a 2 year contract then from what I gather they can blacklist your phone if you try to use it on another carrier. I've never needed to have my phones unlocked, and this is just my understanding from the wording of the law.
