I was just wondering, if you dont get your nexus 7 shipping confirmation email or cc deduction today then what?

I think I might just go to my staples and get one from there, they have a couple in stock. I dont mind waiting to see if I get an email today but if I dont get one then I cant really do anything about it so I might as well just get one from staples and refuse shipment on the other one since I found out there is no restocking fee and its a full refund. (I dont mind waiting for the refund either)

I would really love to cancel my order but who has time to sit on the phone that long. And even if I leave a note for my UPS guy to refuse delivery he will just leave it anyway... cause thats what he does. So WTH I don't know what to do at this point.

At least you guys will get it before the end of the month. As a Gamestop second waver I have to wait until August 7th. I want to go to a store and just pick it up so bad, but i have so much store credit at gamestop im practically getting the nexus 7 for free. I have to exert so much patience sometimes.

Wait for the UPS guy outside ur door, chase him off with a baseball bat, or a broom (granny style) and then make sure he takes that package back with him lol. Ok but really, I was thinking of doing the same thing as you just buying one locally, but I decided im just gonna wait it out and see what happens, its only 10:42am here and theres a looooot of time before the day is over...so here I am...waiting...patiently...

Send an email to Google asking them to cancel your order. If they ship it anyway, no problema. Once you have the tracking number, it takes 90 seconds on the UPS site to refuse delivery and return to sender.

Wow that made perfect sense... why didn't I think of that? To be honest I didn't know I can refuse delivery from ups.com. Now I know... and knowing is half the battle. Anywho I sent an email off to google to cancel my order. If it ships oh well... I'll just refuse it like you said. Thanks for the heads up. Off to Staples I go!

From what others have reported I wouldn't waste your time calling Google to cancel the order. Google will just tell you its too far along in the fulfillment process (even though you have no communication from them) to cancel. They are actually telling customers to refuse shipment! How can that be good business practice?!?

I've been holding off on calling google CS reps. The only call i ever made was because when i first pre ordered my card was declined (hadn't been using it in awhile and bank thought it was fraud)

Anyways, if i don't have a shipping email or a tracking number or updated google wallet by the time i wake up tomorrow, they will most definitely be getting a phone call and i do not plan on hanging up until they can tell me the exact status of my order.

Because honestly i don't buy this crap "Though our agents are unable to provide a specific delivery date for individual preorders, please rest assured that our shipping team is working to fulfill all orders as quickly as possible."

I've personally had enough, I'm honestly considering getting a class action lawsuit for false advertisment going at this point.This is well beyond unacceptable, and on top of that not one word to us customers about whats going on. I have to sit here and study the responses and figure it out myself. Thats just not right. I've watched enough, June 27-28 people with cases are delayed, and everyone who ordered a 16gb between 07/01-07/07 seem to be delayed as well, and they cant come out and tell us this? I have to do independent research and tell everyone what google should be saying. I couldn't be more furious, this wasn't even for me, I have a tablet, its a Bday present for my mom, an already late one that their just adding salt to...

False advertisement, plain and simple. They didn't ship the pre-orders in the claimed time. That's illegal. Period.
