If you brick this phone...

If I brick this phone (I will get this phone in December), is there any way to restore it back to stock like you can do with the Epic? That was probably one of my most favorite parts of rooting the Epic was that I could recover my phone even through all the bricks I had on it. Is there even a stock ROM .tar file out there at this moment? That might explain why some of the threads said they couldn't do anything about their phone.

Good question and hope someone can answer it. Had a Pre and with webOS all we had to do was use the doctor. If there isn't a way I will stay stock.

none of us has the stock .tar yet.. im waiting for it to be leaked or something because its the one thing we are missing in case we mess something up.

Yeah because I have bricked my Epic countless times and it would be comforting to know there is a way out.

They are trying to get the stock image but it doesn't help that the Kernel that Samsung posted doesn't even work correctly.

By the time you get this phone i am 99% sure you will be able to unbrick it. The best part about this having the same guts sans radio as the international version is that a ton of development is already done.

I'm just glad our variant doesn't have a keyboard cuz that will just make coding ROMs for this phone more complicated (like CM7)

I don't think you can flash that to get back to stock though.........I could be wrong but I think people would have been all over it if you could.
