Just got off the phone with Google Wallet and they said to get the $40 you have to activate the card between April 22 and may 2. Who else is pissed!!!

Thanx i did just that and now the are going to do some "investigating" and call me back. But they said with the "includes phones pre-ordered before 4\22" we should have no problem getting but it might take a call.

Just confirming your investigation. Talked to Sprint today, they were baffled and transferred me to a GW rep. After some research, he promised the $40 within the stated 3 week period and assured me a phone call would clear it up if it didn't appear after that time.

I should be getting mine. For some crazy reason my phone deactived itself from the Sprint network a week after i had the phone. I pre-ordered my phone and got it on the 20th. I reactivated it on the 26/27 and I got that 50 in your google wallet email. so maybe i'm getting it..... idk

It did say three weeks. I got mine early as well and haven't gotten my $40 yet, but I'll give them the advertised 3 weeks and then bust balls.

Since today is the 3-week mark from receiving my preordered GNEX, I gave Google Wallet a call (855-492-5538) about the additional $40 not hitting my account yet. They were very nice, and took my information. They needed to know when I purchased the phone and when it arrived. They also needed to know my Google Wallet User ID (from the app) as well as my phone's MEID and Gmail address. They also wanted to confirm the last transaction I made with Google Wallet. I couldn't remember the exact amount, but told them the store, and gave them the approximate amount spent. I was told that there were issues with the preordered phones not getting the funds deposited because of the date range, but would see to it that I got the additional $40. They said that it should hit my account within 24 hours. It hasn't hit yet, so we'll see what happens.

Sprint Chat cannot get any money over to Google Wallet.

And phones ordered via pre-order still count for the offer, it was in writing for this to be true.

The REASON this is happening is a systems limitation, the robots of our world pre-programmed only to do what we tell them.

The robots are going by the 'activation date', and thus, if you fall outside of the pre-programmed window of 4/22-5/22, the Robot's aren't giving you your $40 credit.

Simple phone calls to Google Directly are resolving this issue for phone activated prior to 4/22 from pre-orders.

Sprint customer support, is ill equipped to handle the situation, call Google, and you will be taken care of.

I spoke to a GWallet CSR and he told me I should be getting mine on 5/15/12, because they have on file I activated the phone and Wallet on 4/25/12. He said, if not, to call back and then sent me an email somewhat to that effect.

I was just told the same. The CSR said pre-orders will get their $40 on the 15th automatically, no need to call.
