I have to say I'm impressed with T Mobiles plans and features but am worried about their coverage.
Those of you that are thinking about leaving , where are you going? Or ones that have left where have
you gone and are you happy?

TMO coverage is good in my area and I couldn't be happier with my switch to them.

They do have a test dive program and you could also get a prepaid card and try out their service. If their service is good in your area and spotty at your house, they have free things to the service perfect at your house.

I'm not worried about service at my house I live in southern PA and coverage is good here, it's the places I like to go that I'm worrying about. I'm an outdoors kind of guy and travel to some semi remote/sparsely populated areas for hiking and flyfishing and I've been pleased with Verizons coverage in those situations. Where do you live? You were a VZW customer before going to TMO?

I was an AT&T customer, which I think of as Verizon Jr.

I'm in the Southeast. TMO coverage is good in the South. Customer Service is great and I'm saving about $90 a month and a ton more data. With Verizon, you should save more.

It just depends on TMO coverage in your area. They are planning on nationwide LTE coverage, but that isn't for a couple of years.

My second choice on service would be AT&T. Their coverage is good but I'm not crazy about their CS or their options if service is spotty at your house or their prices. I would choose AT&T over Verizon though.

Go to the worst areas you go to and see who's getting decent service with which carrier.

Or use TMobile's trial to see if they cover the areas you go to - if they don't, you can cancel.

Honestly... I would go with whoever had service in my area. I have had all carriers but Sprint was by the far the worst for my area. I deal with their really slow speeds for over a year then left to T-Mobile and haven't looked back.

If one day T-Mobile sucks... I will explore Verizon and then AT&T.

As others have noted, it depends on where you live. I live in the South. When I lived in the panhandle of Florida, T-Mob was not a realistic choice outside of a few spots. Here in Charleston, SC, they're pretty good. Test drive if you can.

I'm on VZW. I'd rather not be, but they give me the most consistent service. I even switched to AT&T for less than a year. In any rural areas, they were crap.

I've actually switched to TMobile at least temporarily. They were able to make my Verizon galaxy note 2 work on their network so km trying them out. There have been a couple glitches that I think are because my phone isn't 100 percent compatible but so far so good.
