Hi Everyone:

I upgraded from the G Watch R to the Urbane when the Urbane came out. I regret that decision. It might just be my device, but it is a lot slower for some reason. I love the watch faces it comes with, but either Android Wear 5.1.1 or the Urbane is very slow compared to the G Watch R.

Mine seems zippy. Did you do a reset when you first installed it? That is what I have learned from other Android Wear devices.

Yes, I've done several in an attempt to fix it. No luck so far. The update to 5.1.1 started the issues. Do you know if it's possible to revert back to the previous version?

I do not think you can revert back to the older version

I uninstalled Wear Mini Launcher, and that fixed the performance issues.

Nice going. I'm not really that big a fan of the Wear Mni Launcher -- it lost its luster with me pretty fast. Do you NOW consider your Urbane experience superior to the LG-R?

Been a while, so not sure if this is still a question for you. I do now consider it better than the R. Since that time I've also had a stint with the Apple Watch and while it has a lot of nice features, overall I still prefer Android Wear, and particularly the new crop of devices that look a lot like normal watches, whether that's th e Urbane, the new Hauweii watch or the Samsung Gear S2.
