After being an iPhone fanboy for 5 years, I recently swapped my iPhone 6 for a Galaxy S6 Edge. I still have a Mac though.

In short, I have had enough of broken iCloud, and iOS not allowing me to choose default apps. Google offers - from my experience - better cloud services (and searching), and at a better price.

Android is not perfect. It's definitely been less reliable and more unstable than iOS. And design consistency across apps is not as slick as iOS. But I'm certainly enjoying the experience and options to customise and create default apps.

I think Android / Google will be my mobile home for now. I am happy.

Welcome to Android Central. How long have you had the S6 Edge?

I've had it about a week and a half now. The learning curve, from many years of iOS and iCloud, is not terribly steep, but there's still lots I'm getting my head around. Samsung have certainly locked down the phone a bit too much for my liking (for example, adjusting the clock on the lock screen), but I'm still enjoying Android's freedom.
