Been awhile since I've updated my ROM on my Optimus V. Running Android 2.3.4 with 2.6.32.33 AOSP.

Looking at IHO Backside or maybe Harmonia? I've noticed that GPS is a little slow to get a satellite signal on this ROM, hoping to fix this if not then whatever.

Any other suggestions?

I'm running the BackSide ROM and have no problems with the GPS being slow. Try them both. Just back up before you do. ;)

I have used, and continue to use both. Though harmonia is my everyday rom. Gps works perfectly on both. No problems at all. Just try 1 for a little bit, then make a nandroid backup. Then try the other 1 and restore from your nandroid to go back to the other 1. As long as you continue to make backups you can go back and forth between the 2 as often as you want.

For IHO, I've always used BACKside, but I've tried some of the others and I'm sure any would serve you just as well as the others.

try adding ntp pools to your gps.conf
I use IHO Kraven it offers the option of default clock location and a flashable transparent status bar/center clock plus has a cooler processing spinner when it's busy doing things, I dunno if that's in the others. will require apns/build.conf/keylayout modifications for the Optimus V =)

JerryScript just updated his ROM today. I'd go with his and see how you like it. Then do a backup and try Harmonia... But I read that she is working on an update, so you might want to wait to try it.
