I'll be using a Mac to root Gnex. Any tips?

I tried to root my Gnex from a Windows phone and it didn't work. My brother is coming over with his Mac to give me his help. Are there any words of advice, links, or tips regading rooting a Gnex from a Mac?

Ifs very simple on a Mac. Just follow the sticky guide and you'll be fine.
If you're on 404 you'll need the newer su zip tho, its been posted all over or can be found with Google, but if you can't locate it I'll get you a dropbkx link when I'm back from work.

Menu button>system settings>about phone> look for Android version , 6th one down in the list .Thats where it shows which version it is.As shown in screen shot
