Illuminated Lines on Display When Powering On - Galaxy S4

When I power on my phone I get illuminated lines across the screen. These flow down the screen then gives me the Samsung start up sounds chimes then the blue light appears top left then I just get a back screen.

Tried all the usual start up death grips but I don't get any display, just the illuminated lines then black screen. Tried plugging it into the computer. Left the the battery out over night and nothing
The battery is also swollen but I don't have another one to try

Welcome to the forums.
I would guess the display is going bad. You are probably going to have to have it replaced. Do you have insurance on the device?

Nah but its under warranty. I'll let them deal with it
