Hello all,
Longtime former iPhone owner, I just bought a new Nexus 4 a couple of weeks ago. I'd owned several Android phones, all low end, and as a result wasn't too impressed with Android. Since using the N4 I've been completely blown away by how smooth and fast Android is. Not to mention how beautiful the phone looks. I look forward to becoming an active member and learning all I can about my Nexus 4. Glad to be here. :)

Welcome to the forums and back to Android.

Problem with even mid grade phones is in order to keep them inexpensive, hardware obviously takes a hit. But there is no trimming of the bloatware, so you get apps that are hardly used sucking up RAM and making Android look bad,

True. My previous experience with Android left a lot to be desired hence the move to Apple. I couldn't believe the specs on the N4. I can't believe Google sells it for only $349. Pure Android is the only way to go imho. Still a little learning curve but the Nexus 4 beats the carrier-bloated, subsidized phones by a mile.
