I bought the first Nexus One Android from Google because AT&T said they didn't know what an Android was.
They still didn't 6 months into my using it on their network with my old Moto Razr SIM card, but then the droid spilled the beans and AT&T told me they'd have to bill $30 for the data plan I'd been paying $10 for because I had a Smartphone and that was in the contract!
I'm a software developer, otherwise I could not justify paying for a handheld computer with a ridiculous "luxury tax" (from telecom monopolies).
... but I digress. I love my droid, though it's aging and I wanted to find the path to the resurrection ship for my droid. Perhaps I can patch it before I trade up.
