i'm connected to my home computer wirelessly, but how can i see what the password is for the wi-fi?

i've forgotten my wi-fi password, am i able to see it on my phone once connected?

What's the make and model of your router, you should be able to reset it. Usually there is a reset button on the router, might need a pen or hairpin to access it, press and hold for usually around 30 seconds and this should reset it to factory settings. However it may be different to the manufacturer of your device. A quick Google should advise what the procedure is

Welcome to Android Central! Who set up your home wi-fi network? If it was someone else, can you ask them? If you set it up and forgot the password, then I agree with MikeCorsten--do a factory reset of the router, then set your network up again. This time, make a note of your password and keep it somewhere secure, like on a piece of paper in a safe, or in a secure password-keeper app on your phone.
