Im Curious

I was here back in April rooting for the first time on my ZVD version Optimus S and I installed the Scott Pilgrim Rom on Cyanogenmod 2.3.3.

Well im curious, what if I wanted to revert back to stock and update to ZVH OTA?
Or what if i wanted to get a whole new ROM all in all. (Im kind of on this track since zefie doesnt update anymore)

Anyway, I still have all the files on the SD card from when I first started such as GAPPS, clockworkmod, debug-formatsystem, flash_image, xionia_cwma, and z4root.

What would i need to do to get rid of the scott pilgrim version and get say the your mom or any other rom?

Just nandroid back to stock zvd then update to zvh and reroot using one of the methods in the roms, hacks & rooting stickies.

Try TheKraven's ROM first before updating to ZVH

ZVH has been good for some people and terrible for others.

Before going through all the hassle of stock recovery revert, updating to ZVH, etc, try TheKraven's CM7

Everything should work and it should be fairly similar to Zefie's as I think TheKraven said he wanted to keep that CM7 build going.

Better to try out the ZVD versions first before upgrading to ZVH and finding out you want to downgrade.

You should wipe everything! Factory reset,data,dalvik,cache,then update the rom.

To add on....factory reset (from the custom recovery! ) and it won't hurt to flash the debug file after the wipe. Also you should flash GAPPS right after it. Kraven has the instructions laid out pretty well on his thread!

Thanks... i was just worried overall... Didnt wanna brick something that could have been avoided. And i've never installed a different ROM after already having another custom rom.

BTW... On his post, since I already have Xionia (prolly an old ass version (1.2518.6)) Do I need the XioniaRedux? Is that an update or a totally different file altogether?
