Im getting calls on my Gear S3 watch that arent ringing to my phone, they share a number.

I have a Pixel 3XL and the Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch, recently I have had calls ring to my watch but not show up on my phone. They share a number on Verizon and I should have the option to answer on either device, but the calls are not showing up on my phone. What's up?

Since you said that they share a number I'm guessing that your Gear S3 is an LTE model. I would guess that Verizon is configured to ring the Gear S3 on incoming calls first.

With mine the watch has its own phone number and the phone has a different number.
I am able to call just the watch itself.

I am also on Verizon.
