Everyone has their own particular set of needs. I am very much dependent on MS Office apps. Fortunately, ChromeOS now works so well with MS Office web apps and integrates so well with my OneDrive cloud storage that my Lenovo Chromebook Plus functions as well as a Windows laptop for me - and it is cheaper, faster, and more secure. Maybe I've been lucky, but all of my Windows laptop accessories work fine with my Chromebook. No rebuying of anything.

My daughter got a Chromebook from school. She was less than impressed. She would rather do her work on her Surface Laptop Go. Eventually, her school required all of the students to return the Chromebooks. She doesn't have to worry about carrying around that Chromebook anymore and she can still get her work done on her laptop.

I have no use for Windows other than for PC gaming. Everything else works on Android devices, so I don't need Chromebooks or laptop PCs.

I can do everything I need with my Chromebook. What is it that you CAN'T do?

I ditched Widows in 2017 and have been using a Chromebook exclusively ever since. I will never go back. Chrome OS is a lot more capable now days, but even in 2017 I never had a problem using a Logitech keyboard and mouse (or a Microsoft keyboard or mouse) with it. Just plug them in and away we go.

I don't have any problem sharing files between my tablet and laptop. Just open Google Drive or Google Photos and everything is synced.

I've traveled to Europe a couple of times and never needed to take any add-ons except the 220 volt wall plug adapters. I use Google Workspace instead of Microsoft Office so I can't comment on Chrome OS works with Microsoft 365.

I can do everything I need with my Chromebook. What is it that you CAN'T do?

I can't seem to figure out how to get malware or ransomware to infect my Chromebook. I tried to uninstall the Norton antivirus software, but I can't seem to find it.
