im in the MTP mode -- phone will transfer pics but not videos

[Android Central Question]

I have my phone in the MTP mode -- it will upload my pics in no time but it wont let the videos download -- when it comes to the videos it just stops and wont continue --- I don't want to lose my videos on my phone but it takes up so much space -- please help - thank you
